4 Tips to get your home sold fast!

4 Tips to get your home sold fast!

    • Have Professional Photos Taken

This might seem like an obvious tip, but you would be surprised how many people try to take pictures of their home themselves. If you look closely enough you can even notice them in the corners or even their reflection in mirrors. Want to get your home sold in the fastest time possible? Don’t skip hiring a professional photographer to take pictures of your home. Note: when you list your home with me or anyone else with the Christian Black Team, we always hire top notch professional photographers and pay for them out of our own pocket just for you!

    • Keep it bright

Natural light and lightbulbs can really help brighten the home up and help show the home in its best condition. This is a good time to go out and buy extra bulbs. Replace the bulbs with new ones and keep a few handy if any go out.

Get Repairs Done by a Professional

Some repairs you can likely do yourself in a few hours or a day. However, if it’s something that might be a bit more complex simply ask your agent for recommendations on a professional for a specific job. This will ensure the job is done right and will save you time and hassle.

    • Depersonalize the Home and hide Valuables

This tip has a few purposes. First, it helps you pack away things to make it that much easier when the time comes to move. Secondly, it helps buyers when they tour the home. When buyers walk through the home while pictures are hanging up it reminds them that this is someone else’s home and that they are just looking. However, when the home is depersonalized it allows them to see themselves in the home a bit easier without family photos of all the memories the previous family created in that home.

    • Boost Curb Appeal

This tip can be done in just a few hours. Having a great first impression when buyers drive up to your home can mean everything. Therefore, having some fresh mulch, a nicely mowed yard, flowers, and well-groomed shrubs, are great ideas for keeping the curb appeal for when buyers drive up to your home.
